Giancarlo Scalese

Giancarlo Scalese

The President of the Polo Giancarlo Scalese, graduated cum laude in Law at the University of Naples “Federico II” and formerly a PhD, is full professor of international law at the University of Cassino and Southern Latium. At the same University, he holds the positions of Dean of the single-cycle master’s degree program in Law LMG / 01 and is a member of the Board of Directors. Expert in treaty law and international contract law, he is also a professional arbitrator and mediator, as well as a lawyer authorized to practice before the higher courts.

Annita Sciacovelli

Annita Sciacovelli

Annita Sciacovelli is an Adjunct Professor of International Law at the Department of Law of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” and a Cyber Security Specialist. She is a “Cyber Research Fellow” at the Jerusalem Institute of National Security and Strategy. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the International Institute for Peace in Vienna (Austria), a member of the Cyber Security Cyber Warfare Commission of the Italian Intelligence Society, and full member of the Institute of International Humanitarian Law of Sanremo and of the Italian Society of International Law. She teaches International Law at the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT) and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the electronic journal Security & Intelligence.

Luigi Di Santo

Luigi Di Santo

Luigi Di Santo is Professor of Philosophy of Law (IUS / 20) at the Department of Economics and Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium. He is President of the “Legal Services for Labor, Public Administration, Sport and the Third Sector” Degree course (L-14), scientific director of the Departmental Laboratory of “Hermeneutics of juridical temporality”, director responsible for the telematic journal of Philosophy of Law “Democracy and Social Rights”, scientific director of the National School of Socio-Political Formation “Giorgio La Pira”, member of the Academic Senate and member of the Board of Directors of the International Jaques Maritain Institute – Rome. He is the author of numerous publications, including the following monographs in particular: “Per un’ermeneutica dei diritti sociali. I quattro Pilastri Famiglia Lavoro Partecipazione Salute”, published by Il Mulino in 2020; “Per una Teologia dell’Ultimo. Riflessioni sui diritti umani al tempo della crisi globale”, published by Editrice Scientifica Italiana in 2012 and “L’Universo giuridico tra tempo patico e tempo gnosico”, published by Cedam in 2012.

Mariateresa Fappiano

Mariateresa Fappiano is a PhD student of the XXXVI PhD cycle in Institutions and Behaviors, Curriculum: Institutions and Business, with a thesis in International Law entitled: The protection of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) between interests of opposing nature, at the Department of Economics and Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium. She is an Expert in the field of Private International Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium. She was a teacher, from 2016 to 2020, at the Nautical school of the Guardia di Finanza of Gaeta. of the Advanced Training Courses on Immigration: Activities to combat illegal immigration and safeguarding life at sea, holder of the teaching: International and Community legislation in the field of illegal immigration. She was a teacher, in the academic year 2016/2017, of the supplementary teaching of the Chair of International Law: “The framework of the principles governing international responsibility”, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium.

Francesco Maiello

Francesco Maiello

Francesco Maiello is an Adjunct Professor of Private International Law at the Department of Economics and Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium. Since 2020 he has been Coordinator of the Commission of International Law Studies established by the Naples’ Bar Association. Since 2021 he has been a lecturer in International Economic Law at the Master in International Relations and Scenarios and since 2022 he has been Professor of International Law of Investigative and Judicial Cooperation at the University of International Studies in Rome.

Nicola Montesano Cancellara

Nicola Montesano Cancellara

Nicola Montesano Cancellara collaborates with the Chair of International Law at the University of Cassino and Southern Latium. He is a lawyer registered with the Cassino Bar Association and deals with Employment and Pensions, Real Rights and Family Law both in the context of judicial litigation and in out-of-court consultancy. He has gained specific experience on issues related to the sector of free movement of workers (also outside the EU), the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications within the European Union in terms of the correct implementation of European Directives in Italian law, acquiring also various experiences involving the European institutions.

Fulvio Pastore

Fulvio Pastore

Fulvio Pastore, born in Naples on 21.11.1967, is a Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the Department of Law of the University of Naples Federico II. He teaches Constitutional Law in the first year of the Master’s Degree in Law. He is enrolled in the Register of Lawyers of North Naples, he is authorized to practice law before the Higher Courts. His scientific interests are mainly concentrated on the themes of territorial autonomy, fundamental rights and the system of sources of law. In the professional field he mainly deals with local authorities, electoral systems, public contracts, public employment.

Tommaso Alessio Salemme

Tommaso Alessio Salemme

Tommaso Alessio Salemme is a PhD in international law, a lawyer and a lecturer in international sports contracts at University of Cassino and Southern Latium and in the masters in “Cyber Security” and “Administration Sciences and Technological Innovation in the Public Administration”. He collaborates with the University of Cassino and Southern Latium’s Chair of International Law since 2012 as an subject expert. His research and specialization field is international law and private international law. In particular, international investment law, international sports law, international contracts and the protection of personal data.
